Ying Hong No.9 Black Tea is made from a special large-leaf cultivar in Yingde, Guangdong — a region known for its humid, misty mountains and mineral-rich red soil. This gives the tea its signature malty-sweet profile, creamy texture, and almost zero bitterness. It carries deep notes of malted grains, subtle floral-honey aroma, and a maple syrup-like warmth. Originally served at British royal banquets, it's a black tea with both heritage and power.

Q1: Is this tea suitable for beginners?
Yes — if you enjoy bold, malty black teas or want to explore milk tea blends. Its low bitterness and smooth body make it easy to love.
Q2: Can I drink it straight or must I add milk/sugar?
Both work great. Straight brew brings out the malty-sweet depth. Adding milk/sugar enhances its creamy character — your call.
Q3: How is it different from Earl Grey or English Breakfast?
Ying Hong is naturally sweet, malty, and floral without added flavorings. It’s bolder and more full-bodied than most Western-style black teas.
Q4: Is there caffeine? Can I drink it at night?
Yes, it contains moderate to high caffeine. Best enjoyed in the morning or afternoon. Avoid before bed.
