A Rare Phoenix Dan Cong Oolong
Grown exclusively in Phoenix Village, Wudong Mountain (Guangdong, China), Da Wu Ye is a rare medium-leaf hybrid of “Ya Shi Xiang” (Duck Shit Aroma) and “Shui Xian.” This winter harvest, often called Snowflake Dan Cong, is highly prized for its extremely low yield and extraordinary aroma complexity.

Crafted with Tradition
Each batch undergoes 30+ hours of traditional hand-processing, with light-to-medium roasting. This preserves the tea’s floral oils while layering in depth, creaminess, and a signature oolong tea taste that lingers.

Q1: Is this tea artificially flavored?
No. All aromas and sweetness come from natural processing—there are no additives or flavors used.

Q2: Why does the flavor change each steep?
Dan Cong teas are famous for their “变香” property—each brew releases different aromatic compounds. It’s a signature feature, not a flaw.

Q3: Can I brew this tea in a French press or mug?
Yes! Use the Western method. Start with 5g of tea, steep for 20–30 seconds, and enjoy multiple brews.

Q4: Is it caffeinated?
Yes. As an oolong, it has moderate caffeine—enough for gentle focus, perfect for afternoon or creative sessions.
