This tea is oolong tea

Grown exclusively in Phoenix Village, Wudong Mountain (Guangdong, China), Da Wu Ye is a medium-leaf hybrid between “Ya Shi Xiang” (Duck Shit Aroma) and “Shui Xian” varietals. This particular winter harvest, often called “Snowflake Dan Cong”, is known for its extremely low yield and incredible aroma complexity.

Undergoes 30+ hours of traditional hand-processing, with light-to-medium roasting to preserve the tea’s floral oils while adding depth and creaminess.

Flavor profile includes:

  • Sandalwood incense

  • Vanilla & pear

  • Buttery shortbread
    All wrapped in a golden liquor with a sweet, long-lasting finish.

Gongfu Style

  • Tea Amount: 6g per 6oz (180ml)

  • Water Temperature: 208°F / 98°C

  • First Steep: 5 seconds

  • Add 3 seconds for each following infusion

Western Style

  • Tea Amount: 5–10g for 6–8oz (180–240ml)
