Hot Brewing: Best for those who prefer hot tea and wish to experience the full aroma and flavor of the tea leaves. The gaiwan method is simple and allows for easy control over steeping time, making it suitable for beginners.
Cold Brewing: Ideal for hot weather and offers a refreshing taste. It's very easy to prepare, requiring only tea leaves and water in a bottle, followed by refrigeration. The resulting tea is light and thirst-quenching.
For beginners, starting with the hot brewing method using a gaiwan or any container will allow you to better understand the characteristics of tea leaves and the variables involved in the brewing process. Once you gain more experience with tea, you can try cold brewing to experience a different taste and flavor profile.
