Brandless’ Wellness Collection
On March 20, minimalist home and grocery company, Brandless, released its first-ever wellness collection. The collection, which includes essential oils, vitamins, and protein powders, retails anywhere from $3 to $10 per product. Sample products include matcha powder, black chia seeds, gummy multivitamins, and supplements for your hair and nails. In an email to online publication Bustle, Brandless representatives wrote that they created the new wellness line to make wellness something for everyone: “Brandless believes in making wellness accessible to everybody, so they’re making it easier to access high-quality wellness products for less.”
Electronics giant Dyson, known for its vacuum cleaners, is setting out to be a health and wellness company. On March 20, Dyson released a new product available for preorder, the Lightcycle, on its website. What is the Lightcycle? It’s a remotely controlled light that changes color, brightness, and temperature based on a handful of factors. Some factors that control the brightness of the lamp include customer’s age, local brightness, and routine. Experts designed changes in the light’s intensity to stimulate the circadian rhythm and keep your sleep cycle on track. Sam Bernard, the global category director for Lightcycle, briefly discussed the idea behind the Lightcycle with Glossy: “Our portfolio is quite varied and wide, but the home is at the core of what we do with our products, so we want to make sure that the idea of health and wellness is at that core.”
